Ellen joined B&G in January 1998 as Controller and Office Manager. She graduated from Nicholls State University in Thibodaux, LA in 1988 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting and has been a CPA since 1993.  She is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the Louisiana Society of CPAs.

From 1988 until joining the B&G team, she worked in local & regional CPA firms, gaining knowledge and experience in a wide array of industries and businesses, with a concentration in income taxation.

 

Ellen is responsible for all facets of B&G’s accounting and financial systems as well as all income tax compliance and tax planning. She is also the manager of B&G’s administrative Restaurant Support Center.

 

The Restaurant Support Center is the home base for all the members of Senior Staff, as well as the Human Resources and Training Departments.  All accounting functions are located at the RSC as well.  These functions include payroll, accounts payable, payroll tax and sales tax compliance, and income tax compliance.
